Yaizu City in Shizuoka Prefecture offers a stunning view of the majestic Mt. Fuji rising over Suruga Bay. The city is home to several ports known for some of the largest hauls of skipjack tuna, tuna, and whitebait in Japan. Blessed with a mild climate year-round, the mountainous areas are ideal for growing tea and citrus fruits. The key to understanding this town, abundant with blessings, is its ‘tasty water.’ Upon hearing this, we set off on our bicycles around town, armed with SAANCI coffee.

裾広がりの美しい富士山を駿河湾越しに望む、静岡県焼津市。この町には、カツオやマグロ、シラスなどの日本屈指の漁獲量を誇る港がいくつもある。年間を通して温暖な気候に恵まれるため、山間部ではお茶や柑橘類の生産も盛ん。恵みに満ちたこの町を紐解くキーワードは、「おいしい水」だ。そう聞きつけた私たちは SAANCIの二ーヒーを携えて、町中に自転車を走らせた。
